FAQ
What is the dress code?
The dress code is semi-formal garden party so feel free to get a little creative and colorful with semi-formal wedding attire. Think floral prints, light and bright colors, linen, and summer suits. However, the weather in Massachusetts in May can be unpredictable, it can be 80 degrees or 60 degrees, and the ceremony will take place outside; please bring a layer!
Do I have a plus-one?
We are planning a small, intimate ceremony of close family and friends. Due to this, we are unfortunately not accommodating plus-ones and politely ask that only those listed on the invitation attend, if they are able. We appreciate your understanding!
What time should I arrive?
Please plan to arrive at the venue, the Loring-Greenough House, no later than 12:45pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 1pm and we’d hate for you to miss anything! The reception will start right after the ceremony.
Will the wedding be “unplugged”?
We’ve chosen a photographer who we know will capture the ceremony and reception beautifully and with care. We ask that you put your phone away during the ceremony. We’ll be sure to share photos with anyone who asks for them! Pictures at the reception are more than welcome and we hope you’ll share them with us!
What time will the reception end? Is there an after-party?
Our reception will end at 5:30pm. If you have room for more fun, we’d love for you to join us at (TBD) for an afterparty. We’ll be there starting at 9pm.
Are there any other wedding events?
On Sunday, May 12th, please join us in the Winthrop Square Park for coffee and doughnuts at 10am. If the weather isn’t on our side, we’ll pivot.
Covid Precautions
We are aware that the Covid-19 pandemic is ongoing. We therefore request that guests are up to date on their Covid vaccines particularly as there will be vulnerable guests in attendance. The ceremony and reception are outside, weather permitting.
